The current PS3 "Slim" system has 2 USB ports, so why PS3 Controller did Sony skimp on including an extra USB cable?Fortunately, the USB A-to-Mini B cable that you want is common. You already may have a few laying around your house. But this is still inconvenient. Sure, there are some really good gamers who can compensate for that but if you're use to the Xbox's controller, you'll notice the difference. With the DualShock 3 controller, Sony had the opportunity to fix the trigger buttons... but they didn't. That's disappointing.Last Christmas I bought the PS3 move 7 inch android tablet bundle. With it came 1 regular controller and 1 move controller. I quickly added a 2nd move controller and a 2nd regular controller. The PS3 only came with 1 charging cable and the PS3 has to be on to charge. I looked PS3 cases into charging docks and this seemed to be the best choice.The Quad Dock Pro has two spots to charge a regular controller, one spot for a move controller and one spot for the navigator. You CANNOT plug a move contoller into the navigator spot, which is the reason this item got 4 and not 5 stars, since not many people have a use for the navigator at this time. The Dock has a regular wall plug, which works well for us. When you plug in the controller the light is red if it needs to be charged and turns blue when it is fully charged, which I like. The instructions say, that you can charge other items as well, like an MP3 player, but I have not used that function yet, so i can't write a review on it.I find this product to be exactly what I needed! We have exactly two controllers and the Move system, so it holds everything we need it to. I hated charging through the PS3 Slim Cooling Fan and found that to be a huge pain in the neck and this fixed that! I will have to say I agree that it is very bright. We have ours set up in the wii controller basement and in the middle of the night, it was lighting the entire room! This could be a problem if you are using it in your bedroom and are sensitive to light. 745TDBanty 130218
